Aisles cleaned around live forklift traffic

Ride on scrubbing, dust control, break area sanitation and dock maintenance for distribution centres, cross docks, light manufacturing and cold storage.

A ride on floor scrubber cleaning a wide concrete aisle between tall pallet racking in a warehouse
  • 18,000+Sq ft per hour, ride on scrubber in open aisle
  • 45 minSpill response during covered shifts
  • 7/wkDays covered for 24 hour operations
  • 0Recordable incidents involving our crews, 26 months

The floor is a safety asset, not a housekeeping line

In a distribution centre the concrete floor is the surface your entire operation runs across at speed. Dust on it degrades traction. A missed spill is a slip claim. Tyre marking and rubber build up in the pick aisles reduce visibility of the floor markings your safety programme depends on.

Cleaning a live warehouse is therefore mostly a traffic problem. Our operators are certified on the specific machine, wear high visibility PPE, work to a route agreed with your operations manager, and understand which aisle is being picked at which hour.

The output is a floor that stays light, marked, and dry, and a break room your associates will actually use.

What is actually performed, and what it leaves behind

Every line names its cadence and the document it produces. A task with no artefact is a task nobody can verify.

Industrial site programme

  1. Ride on scrubbing on an agreed routeAisles, cross aisles, staging and dock apron scrubbed on a route planned around the pick schedule, with squeegee recovery so the floor is dry behind the machine.Nightly or per shiftMachine route map and hour meter reading
  2. Dock area and apron maintainedDebris, banding, shrink wrap and pallet fragments removed, dock levellers swept, apron pressure washed on a quarterly cycle.Daily and quarterlyShift log plus quarterly record
  3. Break rooms and lockers sanitisedTables, seating, microwave interiors, refrigerator exteriors, vending fronts, floors machine cleaned, waste at volume.Per shift changeShift log
  4. Restrooms serviced at shift volumeA warehouse restroom at a shift change is a different problem from an office restroom. Fixture counts and service frequency are set from headcount, not floor area.Per shift plus roundsRound sheet per restroom
  5. Office mezzanine and guard houseStandard office scope applied to the administrative areas, on the same visit.NightlyShift log
  6. Spill response inside the windowCalled in by your floor supervisor, contained and cleaned inside the response window in the SLA, with the incident written up before the crew leaves. On callSpill report
  7. Dust control on racking and structureHigh level dust removal from racking uprights, beams and structure on a scheduled cycle, coordinated with your fire protection contractor around sprinkler heads.Semi annualScheduled work record with photographs
  8. Floor marking legibility checkedAisle lines, pedestrian walkways and hazard markings inspected during the monthly walk and reported where they need repainting.MonthlyInspection report

Equipment matched to floor condition and area

Rates assume the aisle is clear. A quoted rate that does not state its traffic assumption is a rate for an empty building on a Sunday.

Working inside your safety programme, not beside it

  • Site specific orientation before a first shift, delivered by your EHS team or ours against your material.
  • High visibility vests, safety footwear and eye protection as your site requires.
  • Machine operators certified on the specific equipment, not on equipment in general.
  • Lockout and tagout awareness where our work goes near powered equipment, with any actual isolation performed by your authorised staff.
  • Our incident reporting feeds your log the same shift, not at month end.

Cold storage and food grade areas

Below freezing changes everything. Standard chemistry stops working, standard batteries lose capacity, and a wet floor becomes an ice hazard within minutes. Cold storage work uses low temperature rated equipment and chemistry and a squeegee recovery discipline that leaves nothing behind.

In food grade areas the programme is written against your sanitation standard operating procedures and your audit scheme, and our technicians work to your allergen and zoning rules. We do not write your food safety plan and we do not deviate from it.

Compliance

What every technician on this account has completed

Training is recorded per person with dates, and the roster is part of your monthly pack. A vendor who cannot produce a training record has not delivered the training.

Questions

About industrial and warehouse

Can you work while the building is running?

That is the normal case. We plan the scrubber route against your pick schedule and shift pattern so the machine and your forklifts are never fighting for the same aisle. In a genuine 24 hour operation the work is split into short passes on a rolling route rather than one long sweep, which is slower per square foot and safer by a wide margin.

Do you provide the equipment?

Yes, on our own capital and our own maintenance schedule, which is usually the right answer because a scrubber that is down is a floor that is not cleaned. Where you already own machines we will operate and maintain yours instead and price the labour only. What we will not do is run a machine that is out of service intervals, because it damages the floor and it damages the machine.

How do you handle a chemical spill?

Only within our training and only when your EHS team has identified the material. General housekeeping spills, water and food and packaging debris, are ours. A spill of a process chemical is a hazardous materials response under your emergency plan, and our crew secures the area and calls it in rather than improvising. That boundary is written into the scope.

What does dust control actually mean at height?

Removing accumulated dust from racking uprights, beams, conduits and structure, usually semi annually, using vacuum and lift rather than blowing it down. It is a fire load reduction as much as a housekeeping task, which is why it is coordinated with your fire protection contractor so nothing is disturbed around sprinkler heads. Where lift work is needed, our operators are trained and your permit process applies.
