Meridian Facility Services is a fictional company. This website was built to demonstrate how a commercial janitorial contractor's website should be structured, written and engineered. It does not describe a real business, it does not advertise real services, and nothing on it constitutes an offer.

Every certificate number, policy number, bond number and licence reference on this site contains the literal string DEMO and refers to nothing. Every client, every quoted person and every named account is invented. Every metric is illustrative.

Nothing here is an offer or a quotation

Commercial janitorial work is priced from a measured walkthrough of a specific building. Nothing on this website, including any rate, productivity figure, crew size, response window or service level, is a quotation, a contract term or a commitment.

Where a real contractor publishes figures of this kind, they should be read as indicative ranges that inform a conversation, never as a price.

Operational and technical information

The operational content on this site, including contact times, EPA list references, productivity ranges, floor care intervals and OSHA standard references, reflects general commercial cleaning practice as of the date of writing. It is provided for information.

It is not a substitute for the master label of a specific product, the manufacturer specification of a specific floor, the requirements of a specific regulator, or the judgement of your own infection prevention, safety or facilities professionals.

In particular: disinfectant contact times must always be taken from the master label of the specific EPA registered product being used, for the specific organism being claimed. Any range given on this site is an indication of what a chemistry class typically requires and is not a substitute for reading the label.

Regulatory references

References to OSHA standards, EPA antimicrobial product lists, Green Seal standards, ISSA CIMS certification and LEED credits are made in good faith and describe those frameworks as generally understood. They are not endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by any of those bodies, and none of them has reviewed this website.

Regulations change. Anyone relying on a compliance point should verify it against the current published source rather than against a contractor's website, including this one.

Intellectual property

The design, code, written content and illustration system on this site were produced for this demonstration. The photography was generated or licensed for this use. The typefaces are Inter and Inter Tight, used under the SIL Open Font License, and the licence text is served alongside the font files.

This site does not link out to third party websites. A live version would, and a real terms page would note that a link is not an endorsement and that the linked site has its own terms.

No warranty

This website is provided as is. No warranty is given that it will be available, error free or fit for any particular purpose. Because it is a demonstration of a fictional company, no reliance should be placed on anything it says about that company.

Governing law

A real version of this page would name a governing law and a venue. For a Chicago contractor that would ordinarily be the laws of the State of Illinois and the courts of Cook County.
